Read our 2022 Annual Report to discover how, together with our members and partners, we are catalysing long-term, systemic change. The inaugural report signals our ongoing commitment to transparency and outlines the collective impact we are having in tea-producing countries and more detail about ETP’s role.
Mission-guided impact
Impact is woven into the fabric of our mission and drives every decision we make at ETP. While we know the challenges facing tea are vast and systemic change will not happen overnight, we are proud of our contribution to driving change; in 2022 alone, we reached almost half a million people with our work and convened over 125 partners to help tackle tea’s toughest issues.
In 2022, we reached almost half a million people with our work across six countries. People reached directly and indirectly:

How we measure our impact
We regularly question how we can most effectively demonstrate our contributions to achieving to our vision. We embed assessment and evaluation into all our work and have developed robust monitoring, evaluation, and learning structures like our Global Impact Framework. This applies a mix of quantitative and framing indicators to rigorously measure outcomes and impact and help standardise reporting. In 2024, we will report against the Global Impact Framework for the first time.
For ETP, collecting data is a driver for change: it makes sure all decisions are based on evidence, helps us measure our collective impact and keeps us accountable to everybody working in tea, allowing us to learn, improve our initiatives, and ignite partner support.
